We got our little Angel Stubby in 1995 when he was about 8 months old. Our son Jonathan was just about the same age at the time and these 2 grew up together. He was a Black Lab/Basset mix. He had a full Black Lab body, tail and head with Basset legs that were only about 6" long, hence the name "Stubby". We were lucky enough to be able to watch him and Jonathan grow up together till they were both about 17 years old. Time finally got the best of Stubby on October 9, 2011. He is now our Little Stubby Angel who has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge . Even though we now have our other Babies to fill our hearts we still, and will always, miss our Stubby angel.
